The GPL FOSSology project, analyzing licenses in software, and supported by HP, just published its 1.2.1 minor release, which fixes some annoying bugs of the last major version (1.2.0) announced here.

The tool is now much more performant in its code analysis, has a better license detection, thanks to the Nomos engine, made Open Source by HP in this version. Report management has also been improved and performances increased as well.

A large number of corporations, besides HP use FOSSology as one of their Open Source Governance tool (Alcatel-Lucent, INRIA, NSN, ...), as underlined during a recent conference at Paris Open World Forum.">
