As in the last two years, we'll be holding a FOSSBazaar face to face meeting at the LF Collaboration Summit. The Collaboration Summit takes place from Wednesday April 14 to Friday April 16 in San Francisco and our meeting will be on Thursday and Friday. Our focus this year is on the following two efforts:
- Software Package Data Exchange (SPDX): the aim of this effort is to create a set of data exchange standards to enable organizations to share license and component information (metadata) for software packages and other content with the aim of facilitating license and other policy compliance.
- Governance Best Practices: the aim of this effort is to define and document common practices in the areas of open source governance and use.
