Brendan is the principal of Open Source Law, an ICT legal practice based in Sydney Australia with a special focus on open source and customer copyright. Brendan has extensive experience in ICT related legal issues, acting for both customers and vendors and for both public and private sector organisations.
He is a director and founding member of Open Source Industry Australia Limited and represented OSIA on the Australian working group reviewing OOXML's application for ISO approval. Brendan has prepared a number of submissions to government on behalf of OSIA. Brendan is on editorial board of the LexisNexis Butterworths Internet Law Bulletin, and is a past president of the NSW Society for Computers and the Law. He is also a past editor of the Computers and Law Journal.
